Mauvaise surprise à l'aéroport de Ho Chi Minh. Notre correspondance pour le Sri Lanka est annulé et ils nous ont replacées sur un autre vol le lendemain matin. Merci air asia! Ils semblerait qu'ils m'aient appelé et laissé un message ( je ne répond pas aux numéros que je ne connais pas, surtout à l'étranger : OK la prochaine fois je serai plus vigilante) mais ils n'ont pas pensé à nous prévenir par mail pour l'annulation du vol KL - Colombo... Leurs nouveaux horaires sont étranges...: HCM-KL 29/04 8h30-11h30. KL- Colombo 29/04 9h50-11h50... Cherchez l'erreur! Et attention: tout billet enregistrer via un autre site que air asia n'ayant pas de bagages enregistrer! 20kg =36$!!!! Le problème est qu'on doit quitter le Vietnam, notre visa expirant le jour même. On prend donc notre vol pour Kuala Lumpur le jour même en se préparant à passer une journée à l'aéroport. Et au final ça ne s'avère pas si terrible.

Il s'agit d'un immense centre commerciale et on en profite pour s'installer dans divers restaurants et faire du lèche-vitrine. Mais au moment de s'installer pour la nuit, ça se complique. On nous interdit de dormir sur le sol ou les bancs. On s'installe donc dehors, dans un espace couvert entre le bâtiment des départs et celui des arrivées. Au moment de me poser sur mon sac, je me rend compte que je suis vraiment mal installée. Je compte sortir mon sac de couchage afin de m'en servir comme matelas et là... Mon hamac! Merveilleuse idée! On se planque dans un coin et on attache nos hamacs au garde-corps. Et là on passe l'une des meilleurs nuit de notre existance! C. me dit même que des moines sont venus nous photographier pendant qu'on dormait. Si elle n'était pas là pour me réveiller, on loupait notre avion!

Et voilà, on arrive enfin au Sri Lanka! On réserve le seul dortoir pas cher avec petit déjeuné compris de Negombo! Avant même d'y être, on s'imaginait le Sri Lanka un peu comme le sud de l'Inde. Mais ça n'a rien à voir. Le premier aperçu nous donne l'impression d'un endroit déjà beaucoup plus développé, pas sale et en tout cas moins pollué que l'Inde! Les gens sont également plus ouvert, prêt à nous renseigner. On attrape rapidement notre bus pour Negombo et on se rend au Colombo Airport Luxury Hostel.

Il est sure que Negombo est un point de chute plus intéressant que Colombo mais ça ne vaut pas la peine de s'y attarder 1 semaine non plus. La plage est banale et il n'y a pas grand chose à y faire, tout y est hors de prix: Les paquets de cigarettes par exemple, sont au tarif européen. Par contre les transports ne coutent rien! Bref, Negombo, bien pour l'arrivée ou le départ, mais voilà...

Bad surprise at Ho Chi Minh Airport. Our flight to Sri Lanka is canceled and they replaced us on another flight the next morning. Air asia thank you! It seems they have called me and left a message (I don't answer the numbers I don't know, especially abroad: OK the next time I will be more vigilant) but they didn't thought about sending us a mail to prevent the cancellation of the flight KL - Colombo ... The new scheddule is strange ...: HCM-KL 29/04 8h30-11h30. KL Colombo 29/04 9h50-11h50 ... Find the error! And attention: any ticket record through another website than air asia will have no luggage save! 20kg = $ 36 !!!! The problem is that we must leave Vietnam, our visa expired the same day. So we take our flight to Kuala Lumpur on the same day, preparing to spend a day at the airport. And in the end it was not so bad.

This is a huge commercial center and we took the opportunity to move into various restaurants and make window shopping. But when it was time to find a place for the night, it begans to be complicated. We are forbidden to sleep on the floor or benches. So we moved outside in a covered space between the departures and arrivals building. When I was ready to lay down on my bag, I realize that I was really not well installed. I plan to use my sleeping bag as a mattresses and there ... My hammock! Wonderful idea! It's hiding in a corner and our hammocks attache to railings. And here we pass one of the best night of our existence! C. even told me that the monks came to photograph us while we were sleeping. If she was not there to wake me, we could miss our flight!

And now, we finally arrived in Sri Lanka! We reserve the only cheap dorm with a good breakfast included in Negombo. Even Before being there, we imagined Sri Lanka a little bit like southern India. But it has nothing to see. The first look gives the impression of a place already much more developed, not dirty and certainly less polluted than India! People are also more open, ready to help you. We quickly catch our bus to Negombo and went to Colombo Airport Luxury Hostel.

It is sure that Negombo is a better place to stay than Colombo but that doesn't mean staying one week neither. The beach is trivial and there is not so much things to do there, everything is overpriced: One pack of cigarettes for example, is at the European price. But the transport cost nothing! In short, Negombo, well for the arrival or departure, but that's all ...
