VISA RUN: Renouvellement de Visa -THAÏLANDE-

 

Thaïlande - Cambodge / Malaisie / laos / Myanmar - Thaïlande.

 

Par avion: visa renouvelé de 30 jours

Par les terres : visa renouvelé de 15 jours.

 

Depuis décembre 2014 le concept de visa run N'EST PLUS AUTORISE!! ( sauf condition spéciale pot de vin il semblerait).

Il faut donc passer par le bureau de l'immigration a Bangkok afin de renouveler votre exemption de visa de un mois contre la maudite somme de 1900 bath (+/-45€).

Soyez patient, la file est longue et on panique doucement comme si on devait préparer un examen oral. Mais même avec un jour de retard, on nous a fait notre renouvellement de visa sans aucun reproche.

Pas d'inquiétude si l'heure de la fermeture approche: Une fois votre ticket pour votre guichet, vous pourrez rester jusqu'à l'obtention de votre visa. Ils ferment juste les portes principales!

 

Pour vous donner une idée:

*Arrivée au centre: 13h30

*Mise en ordre des documents et obtention du ticket: 15h00.

*Sortie du bureau avec Visa: 18h00

Maintenant, nous avons également rencontré des Canadiens qui ont été renouveler leur Visa dans la région de Prachouap Khiri Khan! 

Renseignez-vous, il semblerait qu'il y ait un centre là-bas aussi, beaucoup moins bondé avec un temps d'attente estimé à 1 ou 2h.

Bon à savoir, et en plus le coin est très joli!

By plane: renewed 30-day visa

Since December 2014 the concept of visa run is NO LONGER ALLOWED !! (Except special condition "pot of wine" it would seem).

you must therefore go through the immigration office in Bangkok to renew your one month visa exemption against the cursed sum of 1,900 baht (+/- 45 €).

Be patient, the queue is long and slowly, and you panic like you had to prepare an oral examination. But even with one day late, we got our visa renewal without reproach.

Do not worry if the closing time approach: Once you got your ticket to your desk, you can stay until you get your visa. They just close the main doors!

 

To give you an idea:

* Arrival at the center: 1:30 p.m.

* Set order of documents and obtaining the ticket:3:00p.m.

* Exit from the office with the Visa: 6:00 p.m.

Now we have also met Canadians who were renewing their Visa in the area of Prachouap Khiri Khan! Ask it, it seems that there is a center there as well, much less crowded with estimated waiting time of 1 or 2 hours.
