Plitvice est un site classé patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
Après un long trajet en bus, on arrive sur le site de camping Korana dans l'après-midi. Le temps est plus froid et humide que sur la côte, mais on s'en accommodera. On installe notre tente (ça nous revient tout de même moins cher qu'un bungalow ) et on passe notre première nuit à quelques km des cascades. La nuit n'est pas agréable, froide, le sol est dur et inconfortable, même notre couche de vêtements ne nous évitent pas de nous réveiller courbaturées!
Soit, on attaque tout de même la visite, au diable les courbatures! Un bus passe nous prendre sur au camping et nous emmène sur le site. C'est un endroit véritablement incroyable, avec ses 6 lacs en cascades et ses chutes d'eau qui surgissent de partout! L'eau est magnifique, d'une couleur et pureté incroyable! Et une chance pour nous, nous sommes venue en jour de semaine et au mois de septembre, hors saison touristique! Aux vues du monde affluant tout au long de la journée, qu'est ce que ça doit être en pleine saison?! C'est d'autant plus courbaturée que l'on repasse une nouvelle nuit au camping avant de reprendre la route de grand matin, sous la pluie (qui nous aura tout de même épargné durant la nuit! merci pour notre tente non étanche!)
Plitvice is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO. After a long bus ride, we arrive at the campsite Korana in the afternoon. The weather is colder and more humid then on the coast, but who will accommodate. We install our tent (it is still cheaper than a bungalow) and we spend our first night a few km of the waterfalls. The night is not pleasant, cold, the ground is hard and uncomfortable, even our clothing layer does not prevent us to wake up with body aches!
So we still attack the visit, aches for the devil! A bus pick us up on the campsite and takes us to the site. This is a truly amazing place, with 6 lakes in cascade and waterfalls that emerge from everywhere! The water is beautiful, incredible color and purity! And lucky for us, we are coming on a weekday in September, out of the touristic season! looking tothe amount of poeple flowing throughout the day, what it must be in high season ?! This is especially aching that we will return another night at the campsite before heading back in the morning, in the rain (which spared us overnight! thank you for our non-waterproof tent!)
