J'ai rejoint Ben et Sandra, mes hôtes couchsurfing, sur Riambel, petite ville a très forte influence indienne située dans le sud de l'île. C'est la partie de l'île la plus naturelle, la moins affectée par le tourisme. Je reste une semaine à leur coté, à partager leur vie auprès de leurs deux filles Nya et Ma'at. Ils passent leur temps à voyager entre leur ancienne maison (Riambel) et leur nouvelle maison à Cascavelle. Sandra est vétérinaire et ouvre son cabinet dans leur nouvelle propriété! N'hésitez pas à la contacter en cas de besoin.
I joined Ben and Sandra, my couchsurfing host in Riambel, small town with a very strong Indian influence, situated in the south of the island. This is the part of the island the most natural, least affected by tourism. I stay a week at their side, to share their lives with their two daughters Nya and Ma'at. They spend their time traveling between their old house (Riambel) and their new home in Cascavelle. Sandra is a veterinarian and just opens her new office in their new home! Do not hesitate to contact her if needed.
J'ai besoin de souffler un peu et de prendre du temps pour moi. Pas de véritable volontariat à réaliser sur l'île Maurice, on profite de nos moments de libre pour se rendre à la plage, profiter d'une soirée concert, ou de bonne conversations à refaire le monde... Passer du temps auprès de Ben et Sandra est un plaisirs, et ils me laissent même l'opportunité de profiter de mes derniers jours seule (enfin, en compagnie de Loula et autres chats et chiens qui surveillent la maison ) dans leur propriété à Riambel. Ce n'est pas tout les jours que vous avez l'opportunité de passer une semaine auprès de vos hôtes CS mais ils ne se formalisent pas sur la durée!
I need a break and to take time for myself. No real volunteer to perform on Mauritius, we enjoy our free time to go to the beach, enjoy a concert evening or good conversations to make a better world ... Spending time with Ben and Sandra is a pleasure, and they even leave me the opportunity to enjoy my last days alone (well, along with Loula and other cats and dogs that keep the house) in their property in Riambel. It's not every day you have the opportunity to spend a week with your host CS but don't formalize about the duration!
Je partage avec eux la vision d'une vie simple et communautaire où entraide et sincérité serait les principes de bases d'un monde meilleur. Et j'ai le sentiment qu'on se retrouvera un jour dans cette utopie!
I share with them the vision of a simple community life where mutual aid and sincerity would be the basic principles of a better world. And I have the feeling that we will end up one day in this utopia!
Je dois dire que la belle Maurice me bluffe! Moi qui pensais avoir déjà vu des plages répertoriée comme les plus belles au monde...Mais là : les longues étendues désertes de sable blanc sur eau turquoise ont séduit mon coeur comme jamais! vous pouvez marcher et marcher sans voir âme qui vive! Mais ça bien sur, c'est parceque le developpement touristique n'a pas encore eu lieu dans cette partie de l'île. (Il faut espérer que ça reste ainsi! )
I must say that beautiful Mauritius is bluffing me! I thought I had already seen beaches listed as the most beautiful in the world ... But here: the long deserted stretches of white sand with turquoise water seduced my heart like never before! You can walk and walk without seeing any soul! But of course, it is because the tourist development has not taken place in this part of the island. (Hope it will stay that way!)
En ne restant qu'une semaine, je n'ai pas pris le temps de visiter l'île. Je ne peux donc pas en dire grand chose, en dehors du fait que l'île doit sans aucun doute receler de plein d'endroits merveilleux!
Staying only a week, I haven't take the time to visit the island. So I can not say much, besides the fact that the island is undoubtedly full of wonderful places!
