Je prend contact avec Maya via Couchsurfing. Elle tient un orphelinat dans les environs de Kathmandu et accepte les couchsurfers pour une nuit ou deux. Plus, ça devient du volontariat et il faut payer une petite participation chaque jour et offrir une petite donation avant de partir (on vous le rappel tout les jours, vous ne risquez pas d'oublier).
On était censé y rester 2/3 jours. Au final on y reste une semaine au plus grand bonheur de Céline! On y fêtera même son anniversaire à coup de petit gâteau, jus de fruit et lait, ainsi que des ballons pour le bonheur des plus petits.
On emmène les enfants à l'école le matin, on va les rechercher le soir, on fait les devoirs, on joue avec,... un volontariat calme mais épuisant à la fois car ces belles petites bouilles sont particulièrement épuisantes! Qui plus est on a droit a deux/trois typhons qui nous trempe nos affaires jusqu'aux os.
J'espère pour eux que tout le monde se porte bien après le earthquake du mois d'avril 2015. Au dernières nouvelles de Maya, tout le monde allait bien, mais ils ont malgré tout besoin d'aide, aussi bien matérielle que financière. N'hésitez pas à visiter leur site. Concernant Bhaisepati, cette vieille ville aux alentours de Kathmandu, en espérant qu'elle n'ai pas été trop détruite lors du séisme, c'est un endroit très agréable à visiter, moins encombré de touristes! N'achetez pas de ticket, c'est une perte d'argent. Enfin c'est ce que j'aurais dit avant... maintenant si c'est pour participer à la reconstruction du pays, allez-y! Mais allez vous perdre dans les ruelles aux alentours de la vieille ville, c'est un endroit plein de charmes qui vous fera craquer! L'architecture, le travail du bois, les détails de construction sont à tomber!
C'est également durant cette période que nous avons rencontrés Lola et Ivana, deux voyageuses qui sont toujours sur les routes. C'est en leur compagnie qu'on reprendra la route pour Pokhara.

We take the children to school in the morning, we catch them the evening, we did homework, played with them ...Both a quiet but exhausting voluntary because these beautiful small face are particularly exhausting! Furthermore we are deal with two / three typhoons that wet our stuff to the bones.

About Bhaisepati, this old city around Kathmandu, hoping it was not destroyed too much in the quake, this is a very nice place to visit, less crowded with tourists! Do not buy a ticket, it's a waste of money. Finally this is what I said before ... now if it is to participate in the reconstruction of the country, go ahead! But just go and get lost in the streets around the old town, is a place full of charms that will turn you on! The architecture, woodworking, construction details are wonderful!
It was also during this period that we met Lola and Ivana, two travelers who are always on the road. It is with them that we hit the road for Pokhara.
